Simpson Housing Services Simpson Housing Services works to provide hope and stability to individuals and families who have experienced homelessness. Lake Nokomis Presbyterian works with the shelter and the foodshelf to provide meals and staples for South Minneapolis homeless and hungry people. |

The Shower of Stoles is a collection of hundreds of liturgical stoles from gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender persons from twenty-three denominations in five countries. Each stole contains the story of a GLBT person who is active in the life and leadership of their faith community in some way: minister, elder, deacon, teacher, missionary, musician, administrator or active layperson. Through 2006, the stoles were housed at LNPC. |

Meals-on-wheels Minneapolis is a part of a national organization providing nutritious noon-time meals to home-bound persons in the community. Members of LNPC drive routes for the Nokomis-area MOW every six weeks. |

Field Regina Northrop Neighborhood Group FRNNG, the office of which is housed in Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church, is the recognized neighborhood organization for three neighborhoods in south Minneapolis -- Field, Regina and Northrop. These three neighborhoods encompass the area bounded by Second Avenue South and Cedar Avenue, East 42nd Street and Minnehaha Creek. |

T.R.U.S.T. TRUST, "Toward Renewed Unity in Service Together," is a consortium of southwest Minneapolis congregations, working together in areas of common ministry. TRUST offers Handi-salers estate sale managers, Handi-works chore providers, and a parish nursing program, among other resources. LNPC's membership in TRUST provides a member of the congregation a way to participate in the Parish Nurse program. |
