Frequently Asked Questions
| WHERE DO I PARK? |
LNPC has no designated parking lot of its own. However, there is an ex-school lot directly across 46th Street which is available on Sundays. There is also ample on-street parking (just watch out for snow emergency notices!) on 46th Street and 17th Avenue.

| WHAT ABOUT CHILDREN AND INFANTS IN THE SERVICE? |
Children are part of the worshiping community, and their participation is encouraged and appreciated in worship. We recognize that they do so wiggles, giggles and all, and there are places in the service for their active leadership as well. In the sanctuary there is a family seating area, with quiet activities for children, and a rocking chair in the back. We do have a staffed nursery for those times when a family would prefer their child be in the nursery.

| HOW DOES COMMUNION WORK? |
Our communion table is open to all who love and trust Jesus Christ. We vary the form from time to time to try make the experience as meaningful for as many as possible. We most often come forward as a community and serve one another the bread and the grape juice.
| HOW DOES THE OFFERING WORK AT THIS CHURCH? |
There is one offering during the service, at which time a plate will be passed through your pew. You may choose to give or not to give as your conscience directs you. (This is one area where the children lead and assist in worship).

| IS SOMEONE GOING TO TRY AND “SAVE” ME? |
God has already done that in Jesus Christ. Everyone is on a journey of faith. At Lake Nokomis we come together, wherever we each are on our journey, to know and follow Christ, love and serve the world, and live honestly and joyfully the human life we've been given! |
| HOW DO I ADDRESS YOUR MINISTER (E.G., “REVEREND”, “RABBI”, “FATHER”, “PASTOR”, “SISTER”, ETC.?) |
| “Pastor”, “Reverend” or her first name is acceptable. |
